I love the brick walls. Brick layers are almost a trade of the past. I wonder what is on the other side of the brick wall. The construction looks so professional. Before you know it the house will be ready for them. Thanks for showing us the progression of the house.
Stunning!!! IT is coming along .. Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing it with us. Hope you and mum are doing ok. I know how hard it is to take care of ailing parents. Be sure to recharge yourself... HUGS
Thanks Suzanne, yes, it's looking fabulous and it's ongoing with Mum! Thanks for your thoughts, love Chris
It is coming along very nicely. Thanks for the update. Hugs
Hi Shirley, yes, we are all really pleased with the progress so far. Love Chris
Gee they are lucky that they are not in Sydney as all work may have stopped on the house if they were in a Hot Spot area.
I would be nervous that it could all come to a halt overnight.
House is looking good.
Hi Barb, yes, I know, it's horrendous, I'd hate to be waiting on my home to be finished if I lived down there. Love Chris
Beautiful feature. I'm glad things are progressing for them. It's really beginning to look like a house now. I'm enjoying seeing the progress, and I am sure they are also.
Yes, it does look really good. Steve, bless his heart has saved all the floorboards and made the treads for the stairs, the support etc. should be going in next week and then the tiler can go upstairs to do the two bathrooms. He's done the laundry downstairs, but not the ensuite which is attached to the guest room (mine and Trev's when we stay) Love Chris
Are they on schedule? I keep thinking what we say in America, fish and visitors smell after three days. I know you love them, and this is a special opportunity for quality time, but... are they on schedule with the house? Tee hee.
Hi Betsey, they keep telling me October, but Amy and I went there this morning to check on the progress and I can't see it being finished by then, I hang on in hope! ha ha ha, love Chris
