Well, hi there Cuties from beautiful Newcastle, yes, we finally got back home after a long drawn out holiday.

As I've said in the previous post it couldn't have been a nicer place to be stuck than Queenstown, NZ.

Anyway, last night we met with all the family, except for Steve, Amy's husband as he had a bad head cold.
Jewls is still here and she bought Mum along, as we usually take her everywhere.
All the family were there for Dana's 40th birthday and boy was it noisy!
Pictures are following. Dana had a wonderful time and it was so great to have all of us together.
Today (Saturday 9.00am) I've got to do washing and cleaning etc, but it can wait. There's always something to do and I want to make a couple of towels for 2 special staff members that helped us so much whilst we were on holidays. One receptionist from the St. Mortiz hotel in Queenstown and the other a lass from Flight Centre. To say it was a holiday I won't forget is an understatement.

We are glad to be home. Hope you are all well and keeping safe and free from Covid. Love Chris

Thanks and you're good Angie, I can't see any resemblance!! I've got bigger eyes I know that and she's smaller than me in body weight etc. I think she looks like Mum and I've got a fatter face! Love Chris

Thanks Laura, she's still here as of Sunday night. We tried the local police station and they were closed, so she's been in contact with SA friends and they are trying to organise things from their end. It's not looking good, until the borders are open, she's stuck here. Love Chris

Hi Vicki, no it wasn't him, he's been in Tumby Bay Hospital for over 2 weeks and was ambulanced to Port Lincoln hospital for CT scans etc. for a day and then returned to TB hospital. Jewls has been in contact with staff, Doctor and him everyday. Love Chris

I’m so glad you both made it home. It’s nice to get away but terrible if you’re not allowed to travel back home for a while. Looks like you’re all happy to be together and I’m glad for y’all. Your mom is still the beautiful lady she always was and in the pictures you can’t see what’s going on with her. Your sis is pretty as well and I’m sure she needs the time ‘out’. It’s hard be a caregiver so I’m glad she was still here to celebrate with all of you. You and Trevor look refreshed! I hope Steve gets well soon.❤️Toogie

Hi Toogie, yes Mum always looks great, it’s just very confusing trying to communicate and of course confusion is a major element with the disease. Jewls is suffering in silence and trying to keep herself positive. Her cat is very ill too and he’s been her rock throughout all what’s happening with Charles. I hope Charles lasts till she gets home.
Trev and I both do feel relaxed and refreshed so thank you. Love Chris

Hi Shirley, yes it’s been great catching up with her yesterday and today and of course tomorrow at Bens. She’s still waiting for permission to cross from NSW to SA from the South Australian police force. I know she is very anxious to get home to Charles and her beloved cat who’s is not well too with renal problems. It’s cruel whst happens as you grow older, humans and animals. 🥰👵🏻
