One more comment--when I see you name at top my brain goes backwards and I always read it as 'debsews'. Go figure that one out. It just hit me again. lol
LOL That's funny!
It is lovely as is but some comments about buds etc would be nice if you were wanting to. I love looking at older shirts or those made to look old and doing revamping and things like that. I have a basket of my mom's [who is deceased now] and also a few of mine tucked under a table--too nice to throw out. Was just telling myself I need to get in that basket and see what is in it. Just gave one of my greatgranddaughters, now they are back to playing with 18 in. dolls, a sparkly single sock and told her to cut it off and make her doll a tube dress. She really took to that idea and only 7 y/o. Told her mommy might have to help with scissors though.
Thank you! I have only my older clothing, always looking for a way to update them....if they fit! Cute idea for the grands dolls. Actually the shirt is new, but looks worn. I only buy them when on sale.
I love it Do u need my address lol hugsxx
Thank you! Send by email? LOL Thanks for your sence of humor!
Suzanna, it looks perfect. If you did want to add something maybe a bud with a leaf on each collar point, although it would be difficult to hoop. Of course you could make it an applique and sew it on by hand! Love it, love Chris
Thank you! I love the idea for the collar points!
Looks Awesome!!!Beautiul way to dress up old Clothes!!!Well done!!
Thank you so much!
What a great way to dress up a denim shirt! Was it difficult to stitch over the pleat in the back? Or, was it stitched closed?
Thank you1 I basted the pleat down and the embroidery was easy to do.
Looking super. Adding more would not change it.. Mylar never shows up on a photo well enough. Love our work
Thank you! I don't want people to say "Here comes that lady with the roses all over her shirt". I am pleased with it.
No they will say here comes that lady with the beautiful shirt. Wonder where she bought it.
I don't think so look real nice.
Thank you! I will most likely leave it as is.
Looks great, if at all then a small rose centered on the cuff, hugs Maria
Thank you! Cuff has to be rolled up twice because I am a shortie.
I enlarged and these roses really sparkle! Very pretty.
Thank you! I like the mylar. Now granddaughter wants a sweatshirt with yellow roses.
Very nice. I would stop at this, less is more with some items. Although I do like to put a small bud or leaf on the cuff sometimes.
You have done a fantastic job and it is beautiful. Since you ask. How about some roses up one sleeve, maybe just the greenery and buds if you have the ability to split them, which I am guessing you do. Even if you don't care for the idea the shirt well done as it is.
Thank you! I did think about that, maybe some of the greenery and a bud elsewhere.
Suzanna, this is beautiful!!! Well done!
Thank you! I planned on doing this months ago. Then all of a sudden I said to self " You can do this".
