You may have caught before that I have a sort of love-hate relationship with my little Alabama town. Well, today I got my vaccination and there were gift bags. Sample bags of dog food, a pen, and a tiny hand sanitizer. Dog food??? I snatched my son's dog food, too, and carried both to my neighbors with two puppies. It just hit me so funny.

My husband was not even offered a sticker when receiving his vaccinations.

You gave me a laugh I surely needed.

Betsey my husband used to have a lot of hunting dogs.. Once after he retired, he had to buy two 50 pound sacks of dog food at a time at Walmart. When the cashier asked ‘you must have a lot of dogs’, he said “no but since I retired that’s all we’re able to afford to eat!” 🙄😂🤣

Gosh not come across that in the UK. I’m just waiting for my second jab which will probably be in the next couple of weeks

I hadn't noticed the flowers, thanks. When the gentleman told me here is your gift bag, I pointed to my arm and said, no that is the gift. Thank you.

That is funny. The town must have a lot of dog owners. Maybe they tried to trick you and they were really chocolate pieces. I guess it depends on what companies are willing to donate to the cause. Just happy that you did get your vaccination.
