Hi Mary, I love my Oliso iron, it's one that lifts up from the object you are ironing so you never burn anything! It's about $275.00 Australian, I'm not sure if you get them in America or not, but any iron that I don't have to constantly check on is fine by me. Love Chris

Got this Rowenta Steam Iron a few years ago. LOVE LOVE LOVE it to pieces. Don’t know what I ever did without it. Bought it on sale at Bed Bath & Beyond (store in the USA). Well worth the price and puts out a lot of steam. I like steam, especially when I’m quilting, or pressing table linens. Has multiple heat settings, and the base holds a lot of water, so you don’t have to worry about refilling it as often.
