Spring Reconnoiter, part 1. Took my legal pad and pen and pick up stick and rake and blower to find out what the first things are that need cleaning up in the yard. Got about two hours' work done and came in with a long list for the next warm days - 69 and light breeze today. Had a tuna sandwich on the yard at my potting table, which was wonderful Rains wash down the hills all winter and rocks emerge, so I've been lifting a lot of rocks for a decorative flower border edge. Tired enough now that I can happily watch tv and update things on my computer a while before going back. Seeing by the start of daffodils, I have planted a few in too deep a shade in the woods.

You are an amazing woman! That's a lot of work but oh, your yard will be beautiful.

So happy for you to be able to get out--here, our ground is still covered in snow.
