Is this a total build from the ground up, or a huge add-on? How thrilling it is! How much fun to get all new things for the inside!
Hi Jan, yes, it is. I posted pictures of them demolishing the house in previous posts. Yes, Amy is so looking forward to all new appliances. They are also reusing the over 100 year old wooden floorboards throughout to honour the past. It's going to be really unique. Love Chris
I remember how excited we were when out house went up 21 years ago. Wow. It does not seem like it was that long ago! Love seeing the progress!
I know Debbie, it's such an exciting time for them all. I can't wait to see some real action. Love Chris
Ya on the progress and boo on the rain meaning a setback with the pool. It's exciting to watch the progress.
It is all go now. Hooray for Amy & Steve. Rain can be a nuisance when you are doing these sort of jobs. We had a glass petition put on our back veranda before Christmas. We had torrential rain weekend before last and the water came in under the petition. I had to get them to come back and out another bead of sealant on either side. Hope that helps. Hugs
Oh! sorry to read that Shirley, water anywhere inside your house is enough of a problem. I hope it's fixed it too. Love Chris
Footings started is exciting and takes me back to our family home. Hope all goes well and not too many unforeseen hiccups
Hi Caroline, well, with La Nina happening who knows how much rain is around. It is mean to rain tomorrow! Love Chris
Wow, a bunch has been done. They need Mother Nature to cooperation though! Is their lot long and narrow? I can't quite tell. Will their pool be beside their house or behind it? Everyone must be getting excited and frowning when it rains! Hugs to all, Laura
Hi Laura, the pool is at the back of the lot and yes it's a narrow block, that's why it's going to be a 2 storied home. Love Chris
