Sad news. Just hours ago my husband's closest cousin succumbed to Covid. He'd been in induced coma, respirator, then they put in trac tub, feeding tube the was slowly bring him out of the coma-Dr. yesterday said he was doing better and opened his eyes. Been sick for 2 wks. He late today. My husband is so heart broken. He lived about 2 hours away but always called on his way home from work. He will wait a couple days to call his wife. I know he won't be able to hardly talk about it. Prayers please. This is just terrible and really hitting home as I know there are so many other hurting from this also.

I'm so sorry to hear this. This disease is a thief that sneaks in steals precious lives, too many lives. Prayers offered Patti and I hope that you can be safe enough to do what you must to say goodbye.

My heart is broken for you. I know it leaves a terrible hole in your hearts and in your life and there are no words that can fill this horrid hole.

I must have missed a post of your illness to. Just read where you're recovering. Prayers for you and regaining your strength.

My husband finally found where to get his and set up an appt. I can not get it yet---I hear they are giving in phases so I guess I am considered a '1C'. If my husband doesn't get sick from the shot we will be attending his cousins funeral in his church. I'm scared to be around those that were gathered around him in a Covid Unit at the hospital--I think I will double mask. I've not gone anywhere other than pick up a couple RX and staples at local grocery. I'm scared because his cousin was in the peak of health and walked 5 miles a day for years. This virus took him away from us so fast.

I am so so sorry. Covid is so horrible and unpredictable. Some hardly have symptoms, but oh how many have lost their lives. Praying for your family
