I am hoping for the next Holiday season to be a better one, so I am starting now. The snowflake is intended for my window decor amongst smaller ones. This one is 8 inches and took 80 some minutes to stitch. It is from Emblibrary. The unassembled tealight is from Ls-Liane-stitch.

Gosh Angie! These are beau-ti-ful! The edges of the snowflake are so delicate. The red and gold really pop on the white. White is a good background for embroidery or quilts, to make the colors pop. Someone will have very nice decorations this christmas.

I often mean to keep some of the things for myself and then I give it away anyway. Having fun creating is the important thing. I do love the snowflake and will make now the smaller version of it.

Both are beautiful! Did you use bobbin thread for the backs or matching thread?

I used matching thread, but I think bobbin thread would have worked also. Will try that with the smaller version.

Your snowflake is so elegant and the tea lights will add a charming spot wherever you place them. That seems like a long time to stitch the snowflake. Do you have a high speed machine?

Yeas I do have a high speed machine but running it at top speed scares me. The design has a little over 49000 stitches. My machine is always running on 600 sts per minute. My craft room needed some straightening out, which I do while keeping an eye on my project. Once set I really did not do anything to it other then changing to the second bobbin and my craft room is improved a bit.

Yes! The high speeds scare me too! If there is a problem, it's hard to stop before more damage is done.

Letztes Weihnachten hatte ich zu nichts Lust und Dekoration war minimal. Ohne Familie machte es keinen Spaß. Hoffe für ein besseres.

I am obviously a FSL fan. I often run FSL's while sewing or cleaning up my craft room. Latter seems to need cleaning and organizing at all times. It is amazing how fast I clutter up everything

Thanks. I am now going to make a bunch of other snowflakes. Hoping to be able to decorate my front windows. Tealights from Liane's always stitch out well and make great gifts.

Beautiful, they have stitched out perfectly, it is always so satisfying when FSL turns out so lovely, they do take a very long to sew and there is nothing worse finding that in a couple of places they did not catch. You can rely on Liane's FSL always.

I agree. After a while you know which digitizers you can rely on. I love FSL
