Such a neat looking quilt,, You did great , I pray you daughter get well quick and no other problems from covid 19 stay well and trust God he never fails us.
I'm just so jealous of your friends and family to have someone like you in their lives. I wish you attitude was as contagious as this darn virus. I could sure stand to be infected with it. Love the quilt too.
I’m already on to my next quilt top. Gotta keep moving/ doing. My spirit was kinda down when I started this one, just wasn’t in the sewing mood (can you believe?) But I made myself start New Year’s Eve and struggle through. Now I’m glad because I have one top finished and has now ‘got me in the mood’ to do another. One day at a time. It’s kinda like exercise ( which I need to do) once you get started, and see results, it fires you up to do more!
Toogie, you may have been in a slump, but you certainly weren't doing nothing. This is truly beautiful. Thank you for continuing to make quilts for our Veterans.
I'm so sorry to hear your oldest daughter has had to deal with this virus. Praise God she is doing well.
I hope your hubby is back to good health.
And you are so right. We need to keep our hands and minds busy to keep depression away during these crazy times. Wish I could give you a real hug, but know that I really do care and wish I had known so I could add my prayers to yours.
I just couldn’t talk about Marsha. I prayed it wouldn’t be bad on her, but it was so much happening sickness, death of a cousin, holidays so different, Douglas, besides the world in such a mess, it was easy for the devil to think he had us down. I needed quite time for prayer. I know you understand.
Great job, Toogie..Hoping your daughter recovers swiftly and no one else comes down with this virus...
That is a beautiful quilt. I hope your family quickly gets better. I certainly know about the sitting and slump. I am not going to let myself get into that slump I had in 2020.
Good for you! I’m glad to hear that. We gotta keep looking up, getting up and moving on even if it’s to the sewing machine!-lol- thanks
Sorry to hear about your daughter and I pray that she gets her sense of smell back soon.
The quilt is beautiful, you make so many of them Toogie, I'm so impressed with your output. Love Chris
With no going anywhere and cold weather too this is what I should be doing. Thanks I talked to Marsha yesterday and she still says she is ok, just sinuses.
Love this - what a wonderful gift for one of our veterans. Hope your daughter continues to do better! Hugs to you, Laura
Thank you Laura, I’ve started another one. A picture, no instructions but does say size to cut pieces. I have one block done and only 23 more to go!-lol
This is such a happy quilt. I'm sure he or she will be thrilled. You do good work, girl. Hoping your daughter continues to do well.
Thank you very much for all. Marsha says she is ok so all I can do is pray she is.
