I would like to make a thankyou gift for my friend, she is Dutch. I wanted to write Merry Christmas in Dutch. Does anyone know if "Vrolijk Kerstfeest" says Merry Christmas? Just a double check before I stitch it out. Thanks

I am Dutch and you are right. Alternatives would be: 'Prettige Kerstdagen' or for Roman Catholics 'Zalig Kerstfeest'

I goggled it and you are right. It means Merry Christmas. I do not know the the Dutch language so if you want to wait till one of the Cuties from that part of the world chimes in to make sure that's OK 😊

In this case Google is right. But you are right not to trust it completely.
