I have an apron that was my grandmothers although I don’t think she ever used it. I think it was a present to her and of course ‘too pretty to use’ was the mindset back then. I also have a bedspread quilt she made. It wasn’t made for me but given to me upon her death.

I have a beautiful tablecloth made by my grandmother. It is drawn thread work which you never see these days. I just love items that have been handed down

I did think about it but have decided to write on the back of the picture after it is framed. It has already gone to Johannesburg
