It is just after nine pm. This afternoon I had what is now a rare visit to the fabric shop. Rousing myself in hand sanitiser and not touching are rather off putting to my previous fabric shopping fun. I did buy 40 cm of the stuff you put under rugs to stop them slipping to go under my new machine. On thinking what design to start embroidering on the new machine I then realise I saw the right piece of fabric. Oh well it will still be there on Monday.

What a wonderful treat to get out of the house. I agree, when you can only look not touch, it's hard! But oh what a treat for the eyes! And I agree, I long for the return of living like I did 8 months ago. Because I can't breathe with a mask on, I am extremely limited in where I can go. So look forward to another trip the the shop on Monday to enjoy.

I think we are all suffering from the BLAH. Maybe we should think about Christmas and get going? Na....... not now.

Thanks but no thanks to thinking about Christmas. Due to a return of lockdown I dont know when we will see our younger daughter and family which is why I prefer not to think that far ahead. Our grandsons other grandparents have been back in lockdown for about a month. Isn't life interesting?

Fabric, knitting yarn, you need to touch them. And wood, I can't keep my hands off of it be it a table or a chopping board.
We had new carpet fitted a fortnight ago - and I touched the sample swatches when we chose the material. As if I would stroke it when it were in place. But I just could not NOT touch it. No fun to keep your hands in your pocket!!!
Have fun on your return visit for the right piece.
