10/2/2020... In all the years of being a member here, My first time on the sewing area. I would like help if possible. Sorry for the length of the post, but I am making a Bible Puppet for my Grandson. He and wife put on Christian puppet shows, and the Bible puppet disappeared. So he called me, they need another one. It is a 36" puppet, and needs shoes. We can't have a Bible with no shoes. He says "All our puppets have shoes, Gram", What I need help with is a pair of shoes pattern I can make of black vinyl. I have hunted and did buy a pattern but it is for an 18" doll, and I was wondering if any of you had come across a 36" doll pattern for shoes? Free would be nice, but I don't mind paying for it, It is important. Thanx for trying to help me. You would be amazed at the cost for what I have needed to make him. So far I have the hands made. Slow getting done, but I know he won't use it til it gets done. BTW, he is also the Pastor of his church. Hugs, Judy...

do you have goodwill, i have found several child shoes for things i have made. nice black dress shoes.

Thanx for all the help!. I was able to get the pattern enlarged and will try making my own out of Black fuzzy vinyl. If that does not go well, I will try and find a premade pair at the store! I appreciate every answer! Hugs and be Blessed...

I know my 36" doll I made, wears a size one baby shoe which I bought.

do you have a pattern for a small one that u like? your could take and have copied and make larger they can re copy each making it as large as you want. I hope I make my self clear.

Sorry, he does not have any pictures of it! I'm kinda winging it, guessing at the size. He said 20"x30" for the body, 6" arms and legs! Big Googly eyes. It's been fun. Thanx for replying!...

Would it be like a toddler size shoe? Boy or girl shoe? I made Nora some kinda like Mary Janes and used jiffy grip on the bottom. She was about two years old. I’m not sure exactly what kind of shoe you’re looking for but I found Nora’s free and I may could find the link again...maybe..

I already did a Google search, but I'm not good at that. so didn't find what I was looking for. It will be boys shoes, fitting for a serious Bible character. He will sing with the children. Thanx!!!
