It sure is Fall here!

Snap's fur is getting thicker. He is the softest Siamese I've even petted. Here he is enjoying being the center of attention on our bed. (He's that last of our Krispies: Snap, Crackle and Poppy) :-(. What is it about Cats and quilts?

Also, I made this Fall tablecloth just to decorate, it's just a simple check pattern, but I finished the edges like a quilt binding. Then I put it over a black table cloth. I loved how it turned out so falls! My mom used to decorate for every holiday, but this was my first ever for Autumn. Time to make a pot of chili!

Thanks so much! Now I just need to get a photo of him on the tablecloth. The colors should be nice together! Silly.me for loving that darn cat so much!

Snap will be eleven on Halloween. He is way over-weight at 19 lbs. He loves being a only cat. He used to chase around with Poppy, so after we lost him (Big tears here) he is just not as active. He is a good boy, but every once in a while he like to whack us with his paws - if we are trying to move him. He also has little confrontations with the parrots. The parrots always win. We call him our "last cat standing" because we aren't getting any more cats once he is gone. But, I'm determined to get a couple of old shelter kitties and love them in our home until they also pass. I want to get the two "Least Likely" to be adopted and name them those names.

Love everything from the log cabin quilt to the scarecrow decorations. Gus should have gone to your house yesterday. They came in here and Gus was disappointed because I dint have cookies made. I told him I haven’t made anymore since last time they came. They are their fill & I sent the cookies home with them. I had found a recipe for Raisin Bran and nuts cookies. They loved them and so did I !-😉😂

My grandson wouldn't leave those cookies alone and didn't eat the good healthful food then. I guess I shouldn't put them out if I don't want him to eat them. I bought those - no time for baking. I thought they looked pretty on the table too! It's pretty bad when we buy food because they will look nice on the table! Thank

Snap is a sweetheart - most of the time. He doesn't have
any truly bad habits. He is quite spoiled as the only cat now.

It's wonderful that you continue your mother's tradition for decorating for each holiday! I sure don't know why the fur members of our family have a penchant for laying on out fabric projects, but they are so cute that I never make them get off. Your kitty is just perfect laying there! I may have to make cookies today since I cannot electonicly eat yours!
