Vicki, I can't tell you how much better I breathed after my nasal reconstruction! It only took a few days before I was better than ever before! The only problem came later when I found out you have to really blow often so you don't drip! But, that is a small price to pay to be able to breathe! So glad for you!
Heck I drip like crazy now, so I am used to that! I just want to nasal breathe so I quit waking up with a dry sore throat from mouth breathing all night!! Glad to hear of a successful result!
Good news on the scheduling! Don't worry about us, just take care of yourself! We are all wishing you a sucessful surgery. Sending hugs, flowers and big hugs! Suzanna
Gosh Vicki, this has taken so long. No wonder you can't wait to be able to breathe again properly. Prayers for a really successful surgery. It's go to get better doesn't it? Love Chris
The following week after this next surgery will be a year since the first one.....OMG, unbelievable!
well time flies they say, so you don't have to wait that long anymore. try to rest before you have the surgery so you will be fit and in good shape. Must be wonderful to be able to breathe and smell again. Hugs )))
Glad you have a date for your final surgery. Prayers for you and the surgeon during this time. Make sure to keep yourself rested up so you are stronger for the procedure.
Now let's pray this will be the final surgery. So prayers up. Thanks for voting early. We miss you too, but we understand. It will be wonderful to have you breathing again, for sure.

Yikes! Reconstruction surgery! Now that could be extensive or just a little tweaking. Who knows. Did they tell you what the surgery will entail? It'll probably be black and blue for a while and sore. What will the recovery look like? I know...I'm a curious gal...
He is rebuilding the nasal valves....I believe he will use cadaver bone....I go for my pre surgical visit Oct 21 and will find out more I hope...
What is the life time of the cadaver bone? Of course, at my age, it'd out last me!
Good news, then you can also smell the Christmas cookies.... ; -)
the time runs out, good luck, hugs Maria =^..^=
That's good news...Hopefully, you will be breathing easy again soon!
