Congratulations on the new little one to come. Sorry to hear about your problems and hope you get AC soon. I know the fires are a problem. Mom lived out there for 50 yrs .
Congratulations on your upcoming grandchild! As if Covid was not enough to worry about, adding fires and heat over 100 degrees is just so crazy! Stay safe...
Oh my goodness. I used to live in the High Desert of California and moved to Tennessee 14 years ago. But. I have kids and grandkids still there. I keep in touch with the news and ray each day the the good Lord will keep everyone and everything safe. God Bless you and your family.
Praying for you and California during this fire season. We here in Texas are very dry as well and just holding our breath. How exciting for a new life in the family. Hugs. Nan
I would offer you my house but that does not help your husband. I can only pray that your AC is fixed soon. That thunderstorm knocked me almost out of bed. It felt as if it was directly over the house. After it was over I stepped out and felt as if I had stepped into a sauna. Between the heat and the rain and smoke in the air, breathing became difficult. Glad your husbands covid19 test was negative and I pray that what ever procedure he has, that healing will be fast.
CONGRATULATIONS on becoming a grandma again. How exciting. I hope your daughter is close by so you can get in all the cuddling time you need.
Oh my! I had heard about the fires and rolling blackouts, but a broken AC with that kind of heat and a 3 day lag time in service! Oh my! Sure hope it's fixed by now and on the bright side, congrats for the happy news!
I can't imagine living with no a/c in that kind of heat. You are a trooper.
Congrats on the new soon to be grandchild. That's something to look forward too, for sure. You have my empathy on the lack of AC. We had our system break down in the summer several times and finally replaced it last year. It is miserable to be so hot for days. I hope your tech can get it up and running quickly and all goes well with your husband's procedure.
And venting is to be expected under the circumstances, so vent away. Let us know how your husband is doing. You have my prayers.
We actually had not had the AC serviced in a while so we did it in May which is one reason we are really surprised it went out.
It must be very uncomfortable! Good that you are both Covid-free. I hope you daughter goes through pregnancy without any problems.
Not sure what to reply so starting with on your bright side - Congratulations on the forthcoming grandchild and I hope by the time it arrives that your A C is sorted. Dont need AC in our UK home but we do open windows at night for cooler air. Living in a old house we stay cool when hot and warm when cool. Thick walls make great insulation
