Congratulations n your new Laptop. I had to buy a new one last November. Mine has the keyboard lit up as well. Changes colours. Mine is a ASUS Yes it great to have one that starts up as soon as it is turned on. Hugs
That sounds really cool Shirley. Glad you have got a new one too. Love Chris
Enjoy your new toy. I desperately need to start looking for a new one for Klaus. He still has XP. He only uses his aged laptop for email and solitaire.
I hope you find one Sarah. It's always a good idea to get them from a reputable computer company. I'm so lucky mine is only a 10 minute drive away. Love Chris
I am also looking second hand. Klaus uses it so little but is always calling me to sort something out.
Oh, the joy and stress of a new computer. I too will need a new one soon it is 10 years old. All pictures and embroidery designs are backed up on thumb drives regularly but I know when that crash happens some of it will be lost. Enjoy your new computer!!
You've done well to have it last for 10 years Pam. They don't seem to make them last these days. Love Chris
Great! My SNL keeps me up and running but always asks" what have you done now" since he is in the fields most of the time now tending to all his crops , I have to wait 'till he has time for me.
That seems to be the norm these days Miss Lillian. People are so busy. I hope he can check yours out sooner rather than later and it's good to have someone who can help you out so readily. Love Chris
Isn't it wonderful having a new computer that works great! My hubby will tell you (or anyone listening!) that I am hard on computers! He is right by the way. I take good care of them and am careful with them - but, I download designs and it is possible to pick up a virus that way
In the process of setting a new computer up - adding programs, redoing passwords, etc, it takes time and is a major hassle. But, in the end, you have a wonderful machine that works like a dream (for a few years)! Hugs to you - stay safe and enjoy your new PC! Laura
Thanks Laura, yes it's so nice having it turn on and go!!!!! It was taking ages. We are well and keeping to our area. I have been in to see Amy and the girls a couple of times. Next week I'm back to full time babysitting Dana's children after school. I just pick Aqualina up and go to Dana's home and wait with the 3 of them till Dana gets home. Love Chris
Happy that the transition from one laptop to the next was successful one. Enjoy the new one.
Hi Angie, yes, me too. I'm lucky that my guys are so good at doing that. Love Chris
Congrats enjoy your new toy... I love the numbers on the right rather than the top The lighted key board sounds like a wonderful feature. Enjoy!!
Thanks Suzanne, I'm getting used to the wider keyboard and the lighted part quicker than I expected. Love Chris
Ohhh, love the idea of a lighted keyboard! Enjoy playing with your new toy. Thank goodness you had no trouble getting everything transferred onto this one so you are up and running with barely a delay.
Hi Karen, yes it's great being able to see it. I'm a touch typist by trade so it didn't much matter, but it does help in the evenings! And yes, having everything transferred over was fantastic. Love Chris
And now for the learning curve! Since you aren't changing brands, hopefully it will be easy. Congrats on your new "notion".
Hi Betsey, that's for sure. Most of our electronic stuff is Hewlett Packard in the home, except for Trev's computers - they are bought through TAFE (Technical and Further Education) as he is an Adult Education Teacher. Love Chris
So glad you are up and running smoothly...and that you were able to have your new laptop set up for you...
Hi Kim, yes I am too. It's always a bummer when your computers go haywire! Love Chris
If this is not funny, man is glad if the computer works.
I had the last month the same problem, a new hard disc, embroidery data transference has six stood lasted... everything saved. And I am happy . .
That's good news for you Maria. Glad you got everything saved too. Love Chris
Enjoy your new laptop. It’s something I need to replace too
Hi Caroline, I am afraid they are a necessity these days. So many choices too! Love Chris
