I have only just seen your lovely posts. Keenu is much better. I know that he is also a bit alarmed when we walk him with our masks on.
Let us all hope that gradually we will get our lives back into some sort of order. Stay safe.
So sorry, Sarah, to hear Keenu is under stress... though, not surprised as our furry family is so in tune to what is happening in their home and around them... I hope things get back to whatever our "normal" will be soon...
One of my 3 corgis, Gummybear, is my personal stalker. She is either in physical contact with me or within 5 feet of me 100% of the time. She's a great foot warmer. When she thinks something is wrong, she wants to be petted. I guess physical contact with me isn't enough for her then.
Hi, At least you can take him for an early walk in SA, I think it is from 6-9am.
Hopefully it won't be long before things start to get back to some type of normal.
No stress over here :-)
Just too tired 'cos of whole day of "dog surveillance" of our house and garden. LOL
I believe it , he is probably missing his daily routine. Our dog & cat don't like it when things are out of there normal position (furniture etc) ,even though it is for a day or two.
The cat is the only one in our household who hasn't been affected by the lockdown ,she still wanders around our yard & the neighbours yards.Yesterday she decided to visit the possums ,climbed the tree sat in the fork under their box & next time I looked she was sitting on the roof of the box enjoying the view.
Our dog doesn't like to be patted by strangers & there are so many more people walking around ,so she isn't enjoying going for walks at the moment
Oh! Sarah that's so sad. I've heard that our furry friends do get out of whack when their routines are not "normal". I hope it all soon calms down for him and you guys. Love Chris
I can believe it but I'm so sorry you and Keenu are going through this. I know it is so stressful being housebound. And Keenu can feel your stress and frustration. I hope the 2 of you can find some peace in this crazy world. Please give Keenu an extra hug for me and catch a cyber hug for you too.
Poor Keenu. Our fur babies can tell when we are out of sorts. My puppy does not know any different. This whole world is new to her.
Poor baby, he's worried about you. Maybe an extra walk?
Sarah I am not at all surprised. Hope Keenu returns to normal soon.
I believe it. My dogs are more clinging than normal. Everyone is out of routine because of this virus. Have to keep everyone safe including out furry friends. Stay safe!
Yes. When my now 40 year old started grinding his teeth in his sleep, the pediatrician asked were there problems in the marriage? (Yes. Someone had big anger issues. I won't say his name.)
Work on your stress and on having fun with Keenu.
