Oh my goodness, you folks have me laughing so hard. I never knew the subject of elastic was so funny. BTW, if you don't have suspenders to keep you undies up, try cutting out the elastic from you bottom sheet. Who needs fitted sheets when you need elastic for masks. Or to keep your undies where they belong.
Love the denim look ones especially. Great resourcefulness during this time. 😉
I save the round elastic that comes with shoes for different projects. I have find that the elastic is uncomfortable on the ears after a while on masks but keeps hair tidy better than ties. Still havent decided which I prefer so have made a few different versions to choose from
I have made "elastic strap extenders" to hold the elastic made to go around the ears in a strap that goes around the back of the head for those who find the elastic around their ears uncomfortable...works great!
Trims on Wheels has elastic. I had an email just a few days ago advertising it. They are a great company. Husband and wife we see every year at our Sewing and Quilt Expo. Dear people!
I have my sewed masks three weeks ago postet. . . I use round elasic and hat-elastic (Hutgummi), this does not act blow behind the ears . . hugs Maria
10 out of 10 for ingenuity. I'm so glad you got to do some sewing! Love Chris
Glad to know you and hubby are using the beautiful mask you made. I now use the t shirts and use them to tie around my neck. Desperate times makes one innovative 🙃. Be safe and healthy.
I am SO proud of you! I love to see someone try sewing. You did great! ...I also love your thinking out of the box....or panty drawer!-lol
Good Job. Your problem now is how to hold up the panties 😂😂😊
LOL....am definately NOT a commando girl.....maybe I can use suspenders...HA!
Love your masks and using elastic from panties was very creative.
LOL! Now that is improvising! They look fabulous, Vicki! Stay safe! Hugs*, Deb
