Family needed face masks. One of them had a slight fever and was restricted to her room. SHE IS OK. Gratefully I had all the items required to sew them and daughter came to pick them up. A few hours later I received the picture with a comment "We love our face masks". Now son in law who works for the Veterans Administration is asking me to sew them for his co-workers.

I added lightweight fusible webbing to the material and the masks have pockets so one can add any additional protective material. Also added twist ties which makes fitting around the nose easier.

You did a fantastic job! I need to see if I have a machine that will work to make some, as the issue came up for my household today, This may go on for awhile.

It is amazing how the word spreads that you can make masks. I make 10 for family, and the next thing I know, I now have requests for 24 more! A small way to help!
