My Embird says a 7.09 X 11.81 inch hoop is 180 X 300 metric....not sure this helps.

I know this is not really related, but I have to share this with all of you. My grand daughter has a new staffy and she needed a new rug for his bed. I asked her for the measurements and explain how to measure the bed She does not sew not even a button. LOL Back came the size in metric, when I work it out the size was 11 1/2 inches by 12 inches. rather small don't you think, I made it 32inchs x 32 inches fitted just right. Still not told her that her measurements were way out. LOL

If you mean 7.9 inches x 11 inches, it would equal 200.66 mm x 279.4 mm. or 20.066 cm x 27.94cm

I'm sorry dragonflyer, I didn't see your response. I like your comment better.

Using a conversion calculator 7.9 inches equalls 200.66mm and 11 inches equals 279.4mm, but that does not always translate to your embroidery hoop capabilities. The "easiest" calculation would be 25mm is "equal" to 1 inch... my 8" hoop is equal to 200mm. For design size, I would say you can stitch 198mm x 278mm in your hoop. Here is a link to a conversion calculator.
