UPDATE BELOW-Hi Cuties! You may want to ignore my post, if you don't like dolls, but here goes. The fabric for their ballet shoes sat on my cutting table since I made their leotard and tutu last week. I cut and made other clothing ignoring the fabric. I knew I would have to make them soon, because any day now, Nora will come to pick up her babies.

I had the larger doll's shoe top made but put off finishing the bottom and straps because I knew I'd have to tackle the little Frozen doll's shoes. I wasn't sure if I could make and get the top to look right, without a pattern. They are not perfect by any means, but I got them made, and you can see here. The little ones were hard to hold to line and sew.
I also made an A-Line skirt and took all of about 15 minutes from cutting to finish. I need to make more tops now, as most of the ones I've made, are scrub tops. Have a good night or day-Toogie

Nora picked up one of her dolls and all the clothes. Can you tell that she liked them? Made the striped cardigan and white tee shirt today.

They are all quite lovely. You always do such good work. I haven't made doll clothes for such a long time. I used to make clothes for my Barbie doll and then clothes for my daughter's AG doll. The clothes that dolls come with these days is so disappointing. All the details are just stickers or painted on the clothes. My Barbie came with jeans that had an actual working zipper.

Wow! That must have been the smallest zipper ever! Even children’s clothing is disappointing, so I understand what you mean. Thanks she was happy.

Toogie you are so clever. Nora is going to be so thrilled with all these clothes you have made. She is one lucky little girl. Hugs

Her mom told her that tonight. When Nora asked her why her mom told her that all grandmothers don’t sew. Thanks and you can see above that she really was excited to have so many changes of clothes.

The shoes were just plain slip on and I just sewed the ribbon directly onto the back seam. Thanks

I wish you were closer. I have several American doll patterns. I have 6 GGD's and not one got an American Doll. I made clothes and gave to my G nieces I am doing Barbie clothes. Your work is stunning and she will love you dearly.

Toogie I am really enjoying your creations they are brilliant. Nora is one lucky little girl to have a nanna who makes her super dolly clothes.

Thanks C, she will be surprised to have so many when she does come. My daughter is busy today. She is in charge of food planning for any church member's wake, so I won't see them for a few days I'm sure.

I used to make doll dresses for my daughter's Barbie dolls, but I'm afraid I wouldn't have the patience now! The outfits are gorgeous, you have done very well, love the tutu and shoes!

I love to see your creations. Those shoes are looking fabulous. Don't know how you manage those tiny items, are you sure you have only two hands, like the rest of us?

lol-I wouldn't have had room for another finger, nor another hand, they are so small. Glad you like them. Thanks...I am still looking to see your daughter doll's clothing you make. I'm sure you will digitize something small for it too, because that's how good you are! If she were here she would be freezing in just a top-lol
