I want to personal thank Dragonflyer for all the time she took to help me, she spent all Sunday afternoon e-mailing me to help reduce a part of a cross stitch design, Can I on this form give the name of the designer who would not respond to my asking for help? some are just in this for the selling I guess?

No, naming someone that you think unhelpful is not a good idea. You would open Ms Veronica up to liable or slander and I'm sure that you don't want to do that. Besides, the woman/man may be dealing with a tragedy and can't get to you. We have no way of knowing the circumstances. Also there may be copyright infringement if the designer states that their design can not be changed in any way. I feel your frustration, but I'm glad that you have reached a point of satisfaction.
