Hi Cuties, I wanted to say my daughter Ashley had surgery today. She has been suffering with a rather large kidney stone 7mm. It was between the kidney and the bladder. She hoped she could pass it without surgery. However, the doctor was not convinced, but was willing to let her try.

For those of you who have had this including me, you know what I mean when I say, the pain hasn't hit her just right. Well, it did this morning and tonight she said she feels like the doctor preformed a miracle. Such pain relief.
Anyway, today was her oldest child, Mason's 16th birthday. A birthday she will always remember, for sure...My KIDS are getting old...not me....lol

Oh, I have heard from two of my brother's that have been plagued by kidney stones that the pain is horrible. I so hope I never feel it!
Hope your daughter continues to feel better - Thank goodness she was able to get help quickly!! Happy Birthday Mason!!

Relief is so good! 7mm is huge and would not be relieved naturally. So glad that we have the knowledge to fix this. Happy Birthday to Mason, I'm sure seeing his Mom happy and healthy is worth waiting for celebration. Best wishes to all!

Mason's dad and Uncle celebrated with him but mom so wanted to. Yes, we are fortunate to have doctors with the knowledge to fix. Her brother-in-law examined her Sunday and told her he thought it was a kidney stone. If it wasn't for him, her wait for a urologist appointment may have been a long time away or she would have had to go through ER. Thanks Christine.

I herd on the television the other day that it is one of the worse pains ever. Hope your daughter recover quickly.

Thanks Chris, I am sure she slept very well last night because she has been plagued with this for a week now. She is coaching a little dribblers basketball team and today is Nora and her teams first game. Lanie is assisting Ashley and suppose to drive them all to the game, an hour away because doctor said no driving for 24 hours after anesthesia. Thanks for the prayers.

Oh you too. That's a pain, like childbirth, you always remember. I didn't know what was wrong with me when it happened. Another story-lol

I had made my morning bus route. I was fine. I came home completing the usual daily housework. About noon, I was hit with severe pain, so much so I had to lie down. I guess you remember that didn't help. Nothing helped.
I called my husband at work and told him to come home, I needed to go to the emergency room. His reply was, "You can't go to the ER, you have to run your afternoon route." I will not quote what my reply was to him word for word but I did tell him what they could do with my evening route! When I told him," Tell me now if you're coming because if you're not, I'm calling an ambulance". He knew then how serious I was. I felt like I was dying, the pain was so intense.
