Am I the only person still trying to finish my 2019 Christmas gifts? I'll think I'll start my 2020 gifts right after I finihs last years!

You are definitely not alone. I was even late mailing Christmas cards this year - sometimes we all plan well but don't allow for all those unforeseen interruptions that seem to happen just before Christmas.

Yes. Some interruptions do interfere with projects. And that's ok too. Some things just are too important to ignore. My husband's health issues always take priority.

I kept cutting things off my list, and still was working on things right up till Christmas Day! My goal for this year is to try to do one gift per month, and that will help. I will probably fail by March. I talk about what I want to accomplish, and my husband just shakes his head. He knows.

I'd forget where I put my list!

No your definitely not the only one. My GD's backing finally came in so now I can finish her quilt and maybe make a few of the things I wanted for me.

Seems I never get around making things for me. I think I'll put myself at the top of my "to do" list.

No I'm not finished but have made myself a promise to do less next year.

I was still decorating after Christmas! Kids came later so I had the extra time, so I didn't do enough before Christmas. I'm still working on the tablecloth I used, half finished! You are not alone!

Made me laugh! It's ok to be late in my book! It's the thought that counts.

I still need to create an initial to match one on another shirt. Also, my son, his wife, and 2 daughters finally will be receiving their Christmas gifts today. They have been "sharing" an illness since Christmas eve--and I'm thankful they have been willing to wait until they should be no longer contagious.

I, too, would appreciate them waiting until they are well.

I gave up on a project first of November to complete several easier projects for Christmas. Hoping to finish the original project in time for next year.

Giving up sounds like a good solution to me!

lol-does this count as an unfinished 2019 Christmas gift?

I gave my oldest grand daughter a panel she liked, fabrics and batting for Christmas. She just got her quilt un-assembled!-lol- I did tell her I would have it assembled/finished for her March 7 birthday.

No I am still finishing a couple of things off. So how many do you have left to finish?
