Happy New Year Cuties. I don't post much, but do come to the site daily to see how and what everyone is doing.

My question is:
I have a Private Message, but it is the one that keeps coming back from a few years ago.
Is there a way to clear the message, so it doesn't show and stop it from showing up.

Sometimes a message is short and one can read it without opening it. In order for it to go away the message needs to be opened.

Thank you. If I open it, it will keep coming back. Its from a few years ago that keep popping up every once in a while.

It should only be coming back if someone comments in the PM. If you scroll through the comments, you can find the recent comment by the date/time it was added.

I will just ignore it, but it would be nice to have a delete feature, in the PM, so you can delete something if you want to...

I'm afraid it just isn't possible with the ability to include many users. You might try asking the other recipients to stop posting in that one and create a new PM without your user name included.
Remember Cuties, you do NOT have to comment in a PM -- just open the PM by clicking on the words of the PM. It works much like the forum.

As long as anyone included in the message comments again, it will notify again.

Thank you, that is why I didn't comment, but wish we could delete them when they have been read.

That would be tricky. The system is designed to include all listed in a message. I think if you did delete it, it would come back as a new PM because anyone else replying would cause it to re-notify those included.

So if I look at the message, but don't comment, will the number disappear beside my Inbox?

Yes, as long as someone else does not comment. Each time a comment is made, it bumps the PM to the top and the rest of the users get notified.

I do not think so. I do wish it was a new message when I see I have a message. Lol!

Wish there was a way of deleting PM's after they have been read.
