Please does anyone own or have owned a Oliso smart iron? How excellent are they or not? Are they worth buying? Thanks and flowers for your replies

I recently had to buy a new iron again. I do several hours ironing each week. I looked into the oliso irons but decided on another brand for a few reasons.
I need one with a big tank that can be refilled while it is still on, lightweight, lots of steam and more importantly one that won't burn the fabric if accidentally left on it! I decided on the philips perfect care aqua pro. I also don't accidentally knock the temperature dial each time i grab the handle as it does not have one. I can go from organza to denim and back again without changing settings or having to wait for it to heat up or cool down. I had the same iron before but an older model. I was once distracted by one of the kids in the middle of ironing work trousers(left the iron on the fabric) and then had forgotten what I was doing until almost 10mins later. I ran back expecting a hot melted mess if not a fire but it was as I left it. Not even a scorch mark! That iron saved me many times and is a breeze to iron and steam dance costumes and bridal wear without fear of burning them. I call it my safe iron as I can also iron over printed decals without them melting.
Definieltely research and if you know someone with the oliso iron see if you can test it out.

Thanks for your informative reply. I asked the question as I don't know anyone with one and I had a email saying that they were now available in the UK. This has got me thinking and my question was to be a large part of my research

I do have one and like it but same as crafter you can forget when using a regular iron and burn up a cover. Also they are heavy. Hugs. nan

I own a Oliso iron for about 3 years and absolutely love it. It gives me more room since I can even put it down on the material. The only draw back to it is..........
I am so used to just putting it down that I almost burned the cover of the ironing board while attending a quilting meeting. That iron was not an Oliso. 😊😊😊
As far as the "Smart Oliso" I am not sure. There are numerous models available.
