Hello Cuties! I monogrammed these last night, but just getting time to post. I asked a question in Community/Embroidery about stitching knock down stitches. Everyone gave good advice and tips, so thank you Cuties. One reason I was hesitant to try, I only had a small amount of red thread to wind a bobbin and not a whole lot of water soluble stabilizer. Here are the results, tho. Chris, this red is for my sister Sharon that I told you about, in the nursing home. The other is for my grand-daughter Lanie's friend. (A shame their names were spelled differently, as I would have use my Lanie's monogram more.) I need to say the design was provided by Kim/dragonflyer and thank you Kim, helping with my ever growing family's christmas presents. I do think they came out great, what do you think?

These turned out great and love that font. I would love to have a netting type knock down in various shapes and anywhere from 4 inches to 8 inches. I haven't tried it on towels or anything but can sure see the initial or names with a knock down.

Thanks and I love the font too. Wish I had it! I did get some knock down shapes one time. It was in the Freebies but I don't know where they were from. Must have been some time ago before I realized how to add designer's name or initial to a file. Maybe google it....

These are great gifts and will be loved by their new owners! I'm glad that you were able to use knock down stitches. I too have trouble with thin lines even with using the knock down stitches, but the names still stand out nicely. Thanks for posting this as I was curious how stitching on this type of fabric would work.

First time I used them with a name. I have designs they called 'embossed' but I really don't ever remember using them. I was curious too, to see how they would stitch out. Thanks for looking!

is there knock down stitches on both?
The blue looks a better stitch out. They both look good so not a critical comment just following from the knock down thread post.

Yes, there are. I know why you are asking. The S gets really narrow in a couple places, so it looks like the red blanket is covering it up. It's not really and Sister's eyesight is not so good, she won't notice when it does. She loves red and the letters are big for her to see. O do think the blue is a better blanket.
