Hi Cuties, we all had a wonderful day at my annual Christmas lunch. The weather was very warm, so I had the air conditioners on all day.

I had a lovely day thank you dear friend.
It is wonderful sharing this special time with you and your beautiful friends.

The food was scrumptious, as it always is, the Christmas setting a pure delight to my inner child, the wonderful gifts you made us all, were amazing but beyond all that, the love and friendship between everyone was the most heartwarming and generous, and I feel so truly blessed to be a part of this.

Ray said to please pass on his thanks to Stasia, for sending home some of her delicious fried rice and to Chris for her equally delicious baked vegetables.
I really enjoyed every morsel, the two dishes, (already mentioned), the prawns and mango, (without Coriander 🥰 🙏🏻), the potato bake 😋, the curried egg and cherries 🍒, the cold chicken, the delicious pudding and (runny 😂😂😂 custard 😘), even my own Chicken pasta salad, (Ray was so glad there was plenty left over 🤣🤣). ( I apologise if I missed any).

These days will be treasured memories for a very long time.
Thank you Chris, you are one very special lady and a beautiful friend.

You all look so beautiful! The food makes me hungry-lol-Your mom doesn't age, she looks as gorgeous as ever. That goes for you, too. I think you are wearing your hair a little differently...maybe. I know all the ladies enjoy the time spent together during your luncheons. I also know how much they should appreciate all the fine, special gifts you made for each of them. Hi Toogie, thanks for those lovely comments. My hair is actually a bit long at the moment I usually get it cut every 4 weeks, but decided to wait closer to Christmas. It was very muggy for me yesterday and I was constantly pushing my hair back. The ladies loved their gifts. Love Chris

Good evening Tonya, yes we had a lovely day. It all goes by so fast though. Everyone was commenting on how fast this year has gone, even the grandchildren are saying it! Love Chris

Christ it all looks lovely and very festive and you obviously put in an enormous amount of work to make it a lovely day for everyone. Most of all, you all look as though you had the best day just being together for another of your annual Christmas Parties. I bet they all look forward to coming every year.

Good morning Lynne, it was a beautiful day and you know how hot its been! I don't like the heat, so was so glad to have the air conditioners on. The ladies all look forward to what I've done. This year was no exception, now to put my thinking cap on for next year! The room where I set up the luncheon now stays 'dressed' till our family Christmas, so no sewing for me till after Christmas. We're going up to the Hunter Valley for a couple of weeks, to our friends place whilst they are away and guess what, I'm taking my sewing machine with me ha ha ha! Love Chris

Lovely photos, scrumptious menu, jealous again! So wonderful you are able to do this and all of you ladies are able to attend....another spectacular luncheon!

What a lovely table, and everyone sure looks like they are having a great time! You have such a wonderful tradition of hosting the people you care about, and who care about you as well. This is the perfect time of year to celebrate not just the season, but to celebrate friendship and the love each has for the other.

Hi Laura, yes, we always have a great time, but want to see each other more. I visit Meg as often as I can. Sue lives 2 hours south of Newcastle down in Arcadia and I try and see her a few times a year. Kaye, Stasia and Chris who all live locally funnily enough I don't get to see as we are all so busy! Hi Caroline, thanks for commenting - we desperately need rain. Our state of NSW is in full drought and I particularly feel for our farmers who are finding it so hard. Some have had to sell half their stock as they just have no water to give them. I've just noticed on the news there are over 100 fires still going!
"Smoke from the fires was drifting across to New Zealand and affecting communities there, NSW Rural Fire Service commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons said today. There are currently more than 100 fires burning with more than 70 un-contained".
