I recently contacted Yoriko also known as manami here on CUTE. She responded saying she was in the hospital. Tonight I also received this email from her: Dear Shirlene,

Shirlene, Thank you for posting this update on Yoriko. This is such sad news. She is such a lovely person! Not only has she offered wonderful embroidery designs but she was always so pleasant and kind and helpful to all she had contact with. Please let her know my thoughts and Prayers are with her along with all her other friends here on CUTE.

I have thought of her often, she makes some of the finest freestanding lace I have ever purchased. I will certainly continue to pray for her and I want to thank you for the update. Without your post, I would not know. This time of year I always think of her when I get out my beautiful Christmas ornaments that she digitized. I too believe in the power of prayer. Blessings

Oh! no, I didn't realise that she was so ill Shirlene. Thanks so much for relaying the information here to us oldies who knew her. I pray that her sons are close by. I often think of Yukio and if he has a job after graduating his Master of Languages degree in 2017.
