Love the fabric! Looks great!
The fabric is just plain black. I just used plain white thread. Love Chris
You must have the patience of a saint to fiddle with this and get it just right and so evenly placed! Love it!
I am a bit anal when it comes to sewing Penny, it's not perfect but everyone loves it who have seen it. Love Chris
It's a beauty!
Thanks Martine, I agree with you. Love Chris
Yes, it's a very good looking design Thanks for commenting. Love Chris
Thanks Vicki love Chris
Love it Chris. Hugs
Thanks Shirley, I might make the biggest one I can as they are always handy to have. Love Chris
Looks great! Love the white on black. Very elegant. Agree, plain fabric works best for this design.
Thanks Tonya, I saw one on their website in a pink fabric with a pale butterfly print and one with a flower and they didn't look too bad. You would need a very pastel type fabric for the design to show up. Obviously a patterned fabric wouldn't show up the design as effectively. Love Chris
Chris, I bet one of my many batiks would work too. It would just give more wave on wave colors. I might have to buckle down and get this design. This would look awesome in a deep purple with a silver colored thread!!!
Oh, Chris - this is stunning! Just love it. Everything you make is so perfect!! Well done!
Aah, kind words from you my friend. I try!! Love Chris
BEAUTIFUL Looks wonderful. :) Love the design
Thanks so much cantab, me too! Love Chris

Thanks Sonja, please put up pictures of yours on here. I haven't used Scuba fabric. I just looked it up on the internet. Sounds an interesting fabric. Love Chris
I also loved this when I saw it several weeks ago...I have made about a dozen of them for gifts and all have been really well received... beautiful job!
Thanks Kim, wow, that's a lot of them to make. There is a lot of time involved in these ones, fiddly work I call it!!! Love Chris
I just put aside my purchased zipper bag because the zipper broke. Now I need to get this pattern! Stunning work, love it! Suzanna
Thanks Suzanna, it's a great pattern isn't it? Love Chris
It is beautiful! The embossing looks perfect.
Thanks Chris, I loved it as soon as I saw it. Love Chris
Very pretty. You will become addicted to these types of purses. They ae so fun to make and make nice gifts. Hugs. Nan
Hi Nan, yes, I've made lots of zipper purses, but this one was so intricate in its design. Time consuming too! Love Chris
Stunning work Chris. I too am off to have a look at the design with a view to buy.
Glad you like it Caroline. it's a striking design. Love Chris
Oh this is gorgeous Chris! You know I make a lot of these but never saw any like this. Wish I had it for a 5x7, what size it this?
Hi Toogie, this one was made in the 5x7, but there are so many sizes in the design (Hoop Sizes included are : 4x4", 5x5", 5x7", 6.2x10", 6x6", 6x8", 7x7", 8x8", 10x10", 7x9", 11x8", 14x9.5"). Hope you get to make it. Love Chris
Ok Chris I have just blown my budget and bought this design set.
I watched the Video and what got me was the demonstration was done using T Shirt fabric.
I know this site uses a lot of Skuba fabric but too expensive here but T Shirt stuff I have heaps of.
Now all I need is some quiet time.
Thanks for showing us yours.
Hi Barb, yes, I know it's expensive with the Aussie dollar so low. I don't have any t-shirt fabric, but I do have some soft interlock for little girl's nighties. I might try that myself. Love Chris
Lovely purse, great work as usual. I have never tried ITH purse, keep shying away it looks to difficult may be one of these days I will give it a go. May be LOL
ITH purses are not hard really. Just follow the directions and make sure you only use a nylon (plastic zip) have sticky tape on hand and set to go.
I must admit the first one I did I had my finger on the stop button ready. But didn't need it.
Just go for it and follow the instructions they are not difficult
Yep, the ladies are right. Also read the instructions really well before you start, just to make sure you've got everything ready on hand. I just use a good tape to hold down the fabric on the zipper and the back fabric. Have a got at it, they look great. Love Chris
Oh i really really love it:):)
I thought you might Carolyn. It's fiddly, but worth it. Love Chris
Chris this absolutely beautiful. I agree that it has to be a plain fabric. Your choice made it elegant.
Thanks Angie, I fell in love with it when I first saw it on the website. Love Chris
Hi Chris 10.25 am here no daylight saving for us.
Love love love the purse.
I thought wow she did a good job of fussy cutting the printed fabric.
That was until I did a close up and saw it was all stitches.
What does the back look like?
These will make lovely Christmas gifts for your girls.
Thanks Barbara, I've just added the back picture for you, it's the same but without the zipper section and has circles in place of the zipper. This one is for me. Love Chris
