You've been a busy girl, Chris. They will love them.
Looking lovely Christmas and gorgeous colours. Yellow is our youngest grand daughter's favourite colour. Not a great time of the year for jury duty, hope it over quickly so you can get back to sewing etc at home.
Hugs Lynne (far NSW Sth Coast)
Thanks Lynne, can you believe it's going to be in the low to mid thirties here in Newcastle today? Thanks for your comments. Love Chris
They are going to be so cute in their dresses. Lucky you.
Beautiful dresses as always, Chris.... I have one great-niece who has outgrown the need for "Aunt Kimmy" dresses....😪 I knew the day would come!
Thanks Kim, high praise from you my friend. You normally do 8 don't you? So one less is still a lot of dresses to do. I'm just about to start Aqualina's and it just turned 7.00am Been up since 5.30 and gone for my morning walk watching the sunrise! Then I've watered the front and back garden. We have water restrictions here in New South Wales - can only water early morning and late afternoon. It's a no no to do it through the day time. Love Chris
Very nice! I am glad your granddaughters ask for you to sew for them. I did get a request from my 19 year old granddaughter for one of the Tee shirt dresses. I better get busy on it before she gets any older! All the dresses look wonderful!
Thanks so much Suzanna, I'm glad your grand-daughter has asked you to make a dress for her. Those T shirt dresses are so easy to do and look fabulous on the young ones. Love Chris
What a great grandma you are! My grands don't want things I make. So sad for me. At least one of them is learning to sew. Hugs. Nan
Thanks so much Nan. I'm sure there will come a day when they don't want Nanna's sewing items. Love Chris
Perfect for our Stinking Hot Weather at Christmas.
Nice selection of colours.
Hi Barb, you ain't wrong there!!!!!
Talk about a pain making Jasana's though She is so slim and should be a size 12 but because she is tall, I had to make a 14, then her top had to be altered.
I HATE ALTERING PATTERNS!
Anyway, I cut the underskirt armholes and then of course had to reshape the facings and because that little overblouse top was also too big I had to reshape those!!! Aaaaggghhhh! It looks fabulous now and I'm really happy with it.
I'll start Aqualina's tomorrow. As you know it's the long weekend here and on Tuesday I've got Jury duty in the Newcastle Court House in Hunter Street. I want to get as much sewing done over the weekend as possible. Love Chris
So cute! They would be fitting here today. Even though it is officially autumn, the high today was 99 degrees. Cool weather please come!!
Wow that is hot for October in the USA. I hope your cool weather arrives soon. I can't believe how fast this year has gone, you'll be having Halloween before we know it. Love Chris
Great sewing Chris. The girls will be looking stunning in their Christmas dresses. It is still unusual to me to see summer dresses for Christmas. I think for the longest time I thought snow and cold was all over the world in the winter. Ha, ha I grew up.
Thanks Angie, yes, our Christmases are stinking hot usually. Actually last year was lovely, but we have had some Christmas Days when it rained and I love that! Love Chris
They are all so lovely. Love the colours. Hugs
Thanks Shirley, I do too. I'm going to put a little hot pink border on Jasana's too. Love Chris
The dresses are so pretty in their different colors. I like Delphi's the best, color & all, but don't tell the other girls! ....where is the embroidery tho😉😃
Hi Toogie, they didn't want anything on them this year. Thanks for your comments. Love Chris
These are so very pretty!! Each one sweeter than the next. Our Christmas's here are always very cold and snowy - we have to have layers and layers of clothing on!! Well done and hugs to you and yours!! Laura
I loved our White Christmas a couple of years ago - it was magical for us. Our Christmases in Australia are always so hot! I hate being hot, would rather have layers of clothes to put on when it's cold. Thanks for your kind comments. Love Chris
Being a grandparent is so very busy but great fun. Love what your doing. Your girls will all look fantastic. My grandchildren will be needing new fleeces and other warm clothes for our winter.
Your are so right Caroline. School holidays we are always busy. I hope your grands enjoy their clothes from you. Love Chris
