Wow! That is a lot done in a little place! Pray all goes well and the expected results are realized. Best wishes!
Prayers for you! Thank you sooooo very much for sharing your beautiful designs with us!
Absolutely Vicki. Sure hope things are much better for you after the surgery too.
You have mine Vicki and I think you will feel much much better after you get over it.
Thanks Lillian.....to take the time to comment when you have so much going on yourself means alot to me...loving hugs!
Let go and let God my friend. He can help you through it all -- even the nervousness from the unknown. I will be sure to add you to my prayers.
Thank you so much.......you are a true rescuer! Your words do not fall on deaf ears...love to you....
I hope that this fixes all the problems. It sounds like a lot of things will be fixed and I'm glad that you are having this done. I'm sure life will be more comfortable after the operation. Hang in there!
According to the comments you should do fine and be breathing easily in a short time. You know Cuties will be your support. Sending prayers, hugs and for a successful surgery.
Thank you so much.....I know this place is the best support group anywhere!
Adding my prayers to everyone else's. Surgeries have come such a long way in the last 10 years. Sending hugs.
Yes they have.....I just have a terrible time with the anesthesia, it makes me vomit even though they give that anti nausea shot and I can't imagine doing that with my nose covered......ugh!
Vicki it's a really easy procedure and once you have it done and can breathe through your nose you'll be amazed at what you have been missing. I had mine done when I was 28 and have never looked back, I can actually breathe and eat at the same time. LOL!!!!
The worst part was the cleaning procedure after the surgery, but this may be different now as a lot has changed in 42 years.
You will be fine!
If you want to talk about it from a patients point, just FB message me, anytime.
HUGE CYBER hugs xxxxxx
Thanks so much, Meg........yes, I was reading through the after care instructions and there is alot of saline spray and saline rinses to be done lots of times a day, so that hasn't changed......Doc asked me yesterday if I am going to miss my barometer (have terrible headaches and congestion with barometric changes)......I said Heck No! As it gets closer am sure I will lean on you and thanks for the offer....
love to ya!
BIG BIG Prayers. Think of this as a great little nap. Try not to think of it as a surgery. When you wake up and heal you are going to feel so much better. Be sure to let us all know what day and time to pray the hardest. Much Love!
Vicki sending prayers your way. A good friend of mine had this done is so much better . She doesn't have many headaches and her sinus problems basically disappeared!!! Prayers for you, your family (cats included) and the doctors!
Thank you so much......Jim will be a single parent for a couple of weeks for sure....glad to hear of other people having this and doing well!
Praying for you and Dr, I am sure it will help you. Relax as much as possible and wait for results. Hugs, Judy...
Prayers and good thought are with you.. I know you will do fine...Breathing better is a big plus. The doctors do wonderful things now. I will be praying for you and the doctor and to make you calm... You have lots of prayers coming your way!
Suzanne
I know this community is so supportive and prays regularly for all of us......give me great comfort! Not knowing what to expect is what gives the nerves.....
I can imagine you are nervous, but soon you will feel better I hope. hugs )))
I know that you will breathe so much better soon Vicki. Our son-in-law had a deviated septum and had surgery and he's breathing brilliantly now. I'll be praying for you and your surgeons. God bless, love Chris
Think of how much better you will feel and breath when it is over...
I sure hope so, Kim.....I am hoping it helps with the headaches too...I got the migraines under control now hope to get the sinus ones over with....
I can understand being nervous, but I believe you will feel better after. Let us know when it is scheduled so we can pray for you. Hugs
This sounds like one of those you'll be glad you did surgeries! Better breathing and fewer sinus infections, yay! You're already in the prayer list.
My hubby had a similar operation a number of years ago. He was more comfortable sleeping in a Lazy Boy chair than bed for the first week. Be sure to take you medication as directed and not wait! Let us know when it is!! Hugs!
Yes, doc told me the recliner will be my best friend for up to a week...did the surgery help him?
