Just been thinking about Carolyn’s lost lower teeth. Have you found them yet???

A few months ago I bought two pairs of identical shoes - different colours. I have been wearing one of the pairs fairly regularly and at the weekend I decided that as Spring was around the corner I would wear the other pair as they are lighter in colour.
I know they are in their box but I cannot find them. I have had the whole house upside down (found other things) but no shoes. How can a pair of shoes in a box go missing???l

Well if anyone finds a small green oblong tin box with white Japanese writing on full of needles please could they return them as they are currently missing. Stuff does vanish (where too I wonder) then after a time reappears again. Well usually...

A couple of years ago I lost my house key. I had to get a locksmith to get back into my house and he had to drill out the lock. That meant I had to replace the entire lock. About 6 months later I found the key in the back seat of my car. It had slipped down between the seat and the back and wasn't visible. I wish that I had never found it instead of finding something that was now useless to me.

Wondering about her teeth also. I have a granddaughter who "relocates" items. Not hides mind you, according to her. She relocated the key to my grandfather clock and had a time finding it so I could wind the clock. Hugs. Nan

I think we're all tarred with the same brush. I cleaned out my sewing cupboard last week, but not before ordering a new Italian 501 verb book! (which is now up to 600!!) Of course I've got the new book arriving soon but found the old one!!
I'm sure you will locate your lost shoes soon Sarah, if you put them in the house, they have to be there! Love Chris

There is a ad for olive green shoes right next to your post on my computer.
Last year I lost 3 items around the same time.First one turned up quickly because I thought its packaging was different to what it was.
Last week the other 2 turned up with days of each other.7 metres of wide curtain tape ,was in a draw of elastic & I had bought a new lot.My sewing note book which has years of notes, was on top of a box in a cupboard. The only reason I found it,was because I knew I had put a certain gadget on top of one of the boxes on that shelf that I wanted to use. I don't know why it was there,it is used regularly.
Please let us know where you find them.

I often wonder if Carolyn has found her teeth. One day your shoes will come walking back to you. They have just gone for a stroll. he he. I hid a external hard drive after backing up my laptop and did not tell hubby as he would have just said I was silly. When I came home I went to get it from where I thought I had put it and it was not there. Searched everywhere. In the end iI just gave up and bought another thinking I would then find the lost one. 11 years later I found it. It survived a house move. It was in the folds of a short sleeve top in a drawer. Just goes to show I did not think much of that top if I had not wanted to wear it in all those years. THERE is hope for your shoes yet. Hugs

If you still haven't found your shoes, here is what you do.
If you paid for them on a ATM card or a Visa card check with you cards company as if they are lost, stolen or damage with in the first 90 days they are replaceable. My husband tossed his new cell phone in the wash by error. I called the company and they sent out paper work and then after a few days. They credited me back and he purchased another phone.
Hope this helps you.

Years ago a quite young me and my young husband were planning a trip. I decided I didn't want to bring the only piece of expensive jewelry (a pearl necklace) I owned. I told my husband where I was going to hide it so both of us would know and I wouldn't misplace it. When we got back from our trip - believe it or not - neither of us could remember where I had put that necklace. I searched and searched - it had been my mother's necklace and it was lost. About 8 months later, we were ready to do our taxes and low and behold, I found my necklace with our receipts. I had figured that a thief wouldn't be interested in receipts and it would be safe there. We laughed and laughed - it was such a good hiding place that even we couldn't find it!! Good luck finding your shoes - you will! Hugs, Laura

Sarah, I do this once in a while and sometimes after looking for an item for months I find out or remember I gave it to someone. Imagine when you tell someone I'have a pair just like those only a different color and they say " don't you remember? You gave me this. LOL. Happened to me more than once. Hope you find them!

I think earth has a black hole somewhere. It gobbles up stuff and periodically spits them back up. My husband lost his car keys after driving home. They were never found. In that black hole live little goblins that pick on old people and hide things. They play mind games. Sigh......
