Just read this, Carolyn - my oldest son, spent 10 months in a very dangerous place - I felt like I was holding my breath for 10 months. I know your fear. Someone very dear, here - told me to think faith when I felt fear. Simple - but helped me many times. Your Grandson is in my paryers! Hugs, Laura
It is difficult to embrace his choices, but they are his choices...and it is his dream job. Very difficult for his loved ones knowing he has chosen this path...I will pray for his safety. and all others that choose to serve. It is a noble but dangerous path...God Speed...
I can understand why you are so sad about the danger he might face. I am sure he has this need to join and protect his country because of the way he has been raised. Hug him and tell him how much you love him.
Will be praying for him.
This must be so hard for you Carolyn. What a brave grandson you have. Takes some guts to do what he wants to do.
Oh my! I will pray for Noah, and for all the young men along side him to be insightful and fierce in the face of danger. You my friend will always be in my heart and in my prayers.
I know the mixed feelings, proud and sad Carolyn. I've never liked seeing our youth marching off in the Military ,proud to be a part of it all. We simply commit them to God's hands and pray for them daily. I believe God has a path for us all but we are prone to step in our own way. He loves us anyway and watches over us. I will help you pray for your G. Son that God will keep him safe in His arms. Much love!
Yes, I can understand your mixed feelings. Happy because he found his dreamjob, afraid because there is a lot of risk and danger involved. I pray and wish that he will use his best judgement in hard situations and that he may be always be protected by the Lord.
His dream comes true, and he must be happy. All we can do is be happy for him and pray for his safety. Hugs for you and prayers for you and family.
Congratulations on Noah getting into the Armed forces and may he always be protected by God's mighty armour. Prayers for you and the whole family. Love Chris
"Ephesians 6:14-17 - Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God".
Carolyn, bless you. This is hard. Perhaps he has the mind and the mindset and skill set to do lots of good in this world and protect others, save lives. You are so patient and so in touch with nature and God, I know you will work this out to be okay.
It is tough to be excited when a family members dream job is a dangerous one. All we can do is pray for his safety. I will join you in praying for him and ask God to give you peace of mind
Joining you in prayer. I can tell how special he is to you. May he be protected always.
Congratulations for your grandson getting his dream job. I know you will be concerned for him. I will keep him and you in my prayers. Hugs
I know you are concerned with all the fighting around the world. We will have to keep you all in prayer. I also know your faith is strong.
Thinking positive thoughts for you both Carolyn.
May the Lord hold him in the palm of
His Hand.
