My friend that I call the Closet Cutie here has just bought herself a new embroidery machine. Her Brother Galaxie 3000 to describe her comment has been 'hammered'

Today a Brother Innov-is V3 embroidery machine arrived. So my question is does anyone else here have one and what useful tips do you have to help her?

I have a brother innovis not the same model, but in most brother machines are using instructions in the display. I love this machines and they have many designs inside already.

Hi Caroline, In 2012 I got the Brother Quattro 2 Innov-is 6700D (has Disney characters in designs) and love it. I've had no issues with it at all and I'm sure your friend will love it. All I can say is make sure she has some lessons with where she bought it from, as each machine has different quirks. A good serviceman/woman is essential!!! Love Chris

We live too far from the shop but have a excellent service from them. They are brilliant at repairing our machines and giving advice over the phone, like this is a excellent machine to buy. They kept her Galaxie stitching and is going to them for spares. Thanks for replying

I think I had the Innovis before that model and only thing to say is, it was extremely easy and intuitive to learn, unlike my present Janome, which I adore, which had a steep learning curve. Excellent choice and she will enjoy.
