I hope you get a lot of joy using it. It sure keeps your outer hoop steady.

Excellent. Does it work only on Viking hoops?

Yes, only on Viking hoops. It has been available for almost twenty years, and does not work for older / outdated Viking machines. My dealer had one for demonstration purposes when it first became available. It keeps the outer ring of the hoop steady. Problem is you have to screw it onto something solid and I have only limited space - cutting surface, hooping station, etc all in one. I'd rather not fix it there. A piece of anti-slip drawer liner works for me, maybe not as well, but well enough.

It looks like you attached it to your cutting mat?
Then you slide the hoop in as you would on the machine?

Looks interesting.. Do you screw it to a table so it doesn't budge.

I really can not tell how it works. I do not have a Viking machine and maybe that is why. Most important is the fact that you are happy with it. Enjoy.
