Had to laugh at this one! I love the lacy look. what kind do the guys wear? So sweet and love those old kitties.
I am surprised she allows it. Lol! I am not sure if my senior would. Thankfully he is still going outside.
God bless you Vicki, you are doing an awesome job looking after your seniors. Love you heaps xxxxxx
Means so much coming from a fellow animal lover!! Am sure trying my best, especially since I don't know what these old gals are going to throw at me next.....much love back to you and prayers for your health to return!!
First time I ever saw a cat with a diaper. I never knew they even existed. Glad you found a solution.
Tuxie is still so adorable even with a diaper. Guess we will all be there some day. hehe..At least Tuxie wears it with style and still loves his mama...
I see Vickie, she didn't object to posing for you with the diaper, mot too sure if one can get these in South Africa, but it is a great idea when one needs them for an older animal. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Maureen
Oh! Vicki, this is a great way of stopping cats from peeing on their bedding. She does look indignant though! Hope it helps out really well, love Chris
Tuxie is just as cute wearing a diaper. Give her a cuddle for me. I've heard of diapers for dogs but this is a new idea for me. I hope you survive the nightly diaper experience.
This made me giggle. My cat I had for 18 years would have scratched my eyes out if I ever tried putting a diaper on her. Fortunately there never was a need for it. Even if I would have gotten them on her she would have had them off in no time I am sure. I have to say those are fancy diapers.
The first one I put on her came off...I walked into the laundry room where 2 of the litter boxes are and it was laying on the floor....so I think I now have them figured out...
LOLOL...I am sure she did and she didn't know how to pull them back up...LOL
I must laugh water, my cat looks at me, as if something with me is not right.; luckily she has not seen the photo of Tuxi - LOL
Vicky, how old is Tuxie now?? Just asking to see when its my time with my two girls, They are 17yrs.old.
Hugs,
Gabi
Laura, My parents' cats lived 17 and 18 happy years (spoiled) and no problems.
Thats good, i'm just asking in case, cause this is the first time i heard about it from Cats, so i thought maybe things have changed, i had Cats before and they were 19 and 20 yrs. old and never had a problem. So hopefully i wont need any diapers, cause i dont think we have any over here:
Hi Gabi....Tuxie will be 24 yrs old the end of this month....her sister Satie does not have this issue however, her other sister, Graycie was incontinent starting about 5 months before she passed last year and she was 22 when she passed.....I ordered these diapers on line...they are doggie diapers but they fit her her fine...
Thank you Vicky, i remember Graycie passing last year. Compared to Tuxie, my Girls are still young adults.
Yep they sure are, Gabi...….this is the first time we have had such old cats, so it has taken some creativity to take care of them...
