Thank you, Lilian. It would have been perfect if I had not swung round in my chair and bump the embroidery hoop slightly, but apparently it hardly shows.

Thank you! My DS has it now, he flies to Norway tomorrow - I wonder whether my GD will open it straight away or wait till her birthday on the 8th of May.

Thank you. Yes, a lot, but it was fun to do. Sorting out the colours and reducing it to 9 colours and 10 thread changes was a lot of work too, but that made it easier to stitch.

Pure machinetijd was 1uur en 35 minuten. Als het resultaat goed is maakt dat niet zo veel uit.

Yes, I did; it helps so much in keeping the stitches on top of the loops of the towel.
