EDITED-Hi Cuties, look what my daughter gave me today, she made for one of my machines! This is the little machine given to me and I take to QOV class. My daughter said she didn't know the font I use for my embroidery, but the letters are close, if not exact. I told her I didn't know the font either, as a Cutie did my name for me. Here is something I embroidered with my name, only it has a slight curve in the emb file name. She wasn't sure how to do that with the Silhouette Cameo machine. I told her I'm happy with it, wasn't that sweet of her!

I'm thinking now I may need to clarify that my daughter made and gave me the vinyl sticker 'Toogie' for my little machine her boss gave me some months back. (check out link)This is the machine I take to Quilts of Valor meetings. The bag was made sometimes back too, I just used it to show the unknown font a Cutie used, when she made my name for me.

I see the apple didn't fall far from the tree when it comes to creativity!
What a great idea , especially for classes and workshops when you don't know everyone--it's always embarrassing to have to ask someone their name 2 or 3 times. I'd guess she could sell these if its not so labor intensive that it isn't worth her time.

I just asked her if anyone on Cute wanted their name in vinyl for their machine, did she want to make any. She said $5 plus postage and she would. I told her that's what the other ladies said they paid. So pm me if anyone is interested. ...I know I'm new to the QOV group so it sure helped me to know their name by looking at machine first.

When I went to the national QOV meeting most of the ladies had their names on their machines. They said one of the ladies sons made them for $5. each. Call it a stroke of luck or what, but when I went to my next home meeting my daughter sent me a text to show what she just bought, the Cameo machine. I told her she could make $5 for each name she made and she could start with mine and RoAnn's, as RoAnn was helping me cut borders that day for my fundraiser quilts. RoAnn wanted hers in pink as her new machine she bought at Jenny's MSQC had decals in pink.

She had no idea I saw their names on their machines and I had no idea she was going to buy a Silhouette Cameo machine.

The bag was made some time ago, but you may have missed it. I used it for an example of the font I have for my name. My daughter wanted to know the emb design font name, but as It was unknown to me, I showed the bag with the font image. She got the red Toogie font in vinyl close, if not exact, but it doesn't have the curve in it like the emb design font. I am tickled with it though.
