A friend visited this afternoon and I talked her through making this for her new great niece. Sadly my source of very soft fleece is no more and there is only sufficient to make one more taggy in pink. There is something very therapeutic slowly cutting up pieces of ribbon when making a taggy blanket. This is the first time that I have (helped) produce a taggy with fleece on both sides. Sorry there isn't a picture of the reverse. Apologies that the picture is on its side as I have tried to get it upright. There is a large hyacinth that has fallen into the picture, as the photo was taken by a large bowl that I planted up in the Autumn. Sadly the beautiful perfume cannot be enjoyed via this photo. Thanks for looking

They are very easy to make and don't take too long

Will have to give it a go are there any rules as to how long or how many ribbons there should be.

This is such a nice project. I am sure the baby will enjoy it.
I can almost smell the hyacinth

I use throw rugs for my soft fleece, you can get some cheap during sales, much cheaper than fabric by the metre...wendy

The reverse fleece is from a baby blanket. Why is it that it's cheaper to buy a blanket and cut it up than buying fleece fabric?

Very pretty, I've never made one of these. Love the font you've used.
