A very easy applique to do, also I sit it on point and drew the outline of the block flowers then quilted the lines of that.

This pattern I found in a very old quilt book,I scaled it down a bit and did different leaves. the block was so big.

You have done a wonderful job on your quilt! The hand quilting and applique is stunning. I, too hand quilt all the quilts I make, but I don't have the skill you have for doing hand applique.

Thanks, they way I do mine is very easy to make the applique look good without your stitches showing.

I have a couple more with applique , love the simple looking even in embroidery.

I love it. It's so peaceful and I truly appreciate all of the stitching.

I think hand quilting is top in my book although machine quilting can be beautiful.

Gorgeous! More to my liking, or my personal taste, although your black was very nice too. Thanks for showing us.
