Don't know where you are but here the Viking Dealers are all having big Christmas sales. Be sure to ask about that. We have found that even if you are a few days late they will honor the sale prices. Not sure about the Grinch one! Maybe a "grinchy" person should wear it!
Sorry to hear about your machine. I took mine in in late October. Got it back but it still isn't fixed. I hate it when they do that.
