Hi Cuties, as you guys in the Northern hemisphere celebrate Christmas with snow and ice, we down-under have heat and summer rains.

On Saturday Dana and the family had their yearly Christmas piccie with Santa on our local beach at Redhead. Jasana, Scoobie (dog), Aqualina and Ryke.
I love Santa's beard, don't you?

I hope all of our American cuties had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Love Chris

Thanks Chris, yes, they are getting taller. Jasana (the lass on the left hand side looking at the picture) has legs longer than mine and she's not 12 till next May!!! Love Chris

Beautiful picture. I have lived in the Southern Hemisphere for over 50years and I will never feel that it is Christmas as we swelter in the heat cooking Christmas fare.

I hear ya Sarah! It's not nice having to cook a traditional Christmas lunch when it's over 30C outside! Our air-con is cranked up when it's that warm!!! Love Chris

This is such an adorable picture!!! Great smiles from everyone! Certainly is a contrast with the two feet of snow we have on the ground right now (and still coming down!). Hugs to you and yours! Laura

Ooh! chilly billy Laura, we only experience that sort of snow down in the snowfields, of course during our winter! Love Chris

Wonderful picture Chris. I can honestly say that I have never seen a yearly picture with Santa on the beach. He does look warm. The kids have grown so much since a year ago!

Hi Debbie, yes, it's very rare to see a Santa in a suit on the beach, but Australia at Christmas time is just so hot! The kids are growing fast Ryke will be 13 and Aqualina 9 in February and Jasana 12 in May next year! Love Chris

Great picture, Chris...the kids are growing up so fast...Although not common here in Southern California for a picture like this...it could have been taken here just as well....although we are a bit warmer than your 22C...we have been having weather in the low 80's F (27-28C) and it's not summer here it's winter!

Hi Nan, well nearly this time last year we were preparing to go to Europe for a White Christmas (Amy, Steve, Ophelie, Delphi and Trev and me) - it was our first ever and we LOVED it. It's hard to comprehend for the little ones. Love Chris

It is a strange thought to celebrate Christmas in hot weather. Even here in California it gets cold inn the winter. This is the best looking group. Did Santa arrive on the surf board?

Oh my! You will truly have a winter wonderland, at that rate!

Wow!, now that is impressive Debbie!!. We're expecting torrential rain tomorrow and Sydney have been put on alert. We are 2 hours north of Sydney here in Newcastle, but we might get some of it!
I've got Amy's rabbit staying here whilst they are in New Zealand till the 6th December, so we'll be keeping her under the house in her hutch if it's going to be as bad as they say! Love Chris
