Wonderful pic. The children have grown so much. Happy Holidays!
Thanks Chris, yes, they are getting taller. Jasana (the lass on the left hand side looking at the picture) has legs longer than mine and she's not 12 till next May!!! Love Chris
Beautiful picture. I have lived in the Southern Hemisphere for over 50years and I will never feel that it is Christmas as we swelter in the heat cooking Christmas fare.
I hear ya Sarah! It's not nice having to cook a traditional Christmas lunch when it's over 30C outside! Our air-con is cranked up when it's that warm!!! Love Chris
This is such an adorable picture!!! Great smiles from everyone! Certainly is a contrast with the two feet of snow we have on the ground right now (and still coming down!). Hugs to you and yours! Laura
Ooh! chilly billy Laura, we only experience that sort of snow down in the snowfields, of course during our winter! Love Chris
Wonderful picture Chris. I can honestly say that I have never seen a yearly picture with Santa on the beach. He does look warm. The kids have grown so much since a year ago!
Hi Debbie, yes, it's very rare to see a Santa in a suit on the beach, but Australia at Christmas time is just so hot! The kids are growing fast Ryke will be 13 and Aqualina 9 in February and Jasana 12 in May next year! Love Chris
Great picture, Chris...the kids are growing up so fast...Although not common here in Southern California for a picture like this...it could have been taken here just as well....although we are a bit warmer than your 22C...we have been having weather in the low 80's F (27-28C) and it's not summer here it's winter!
Thanks Kim, aren't they just? Your weather sounds very much like ours. Love Chris
Great holiday pic. I was trying to explain Christmas without cold weather to my 8yo GD and she just could not imagine summertime Christmas! Hugs. Nan
Hi Nan, well nearly this time last year we were preparing to go to Europe for a White Christmas (Amy, Steve, Ophelie, Delphi and Trev and me) - it was our first ever and we LOVED it. It's hard to comprehend for the little ones. Love Chris
What a cute picture! Santa looks a little warmly dressed for the weather. LOL
It was about 22C on Saturday. Of course Santa has to wear the full regalia! Love Chris
Lovely picture. Hugs
Thanks Shirley, I think so too. I'm sure we'll get one with all of the family in it, we have for the past couple of years. Love Chris
It is a strange thought to celebrate Christmas in hot weather. Even here in California it gets cold inn the winter. This is the best looking group. Did Santa arrive on the surf board?
Ha ha ha! no he didn't arrive on the surfboard Angie, but we have lots of different Santas here, as I'm sure you guys do in the north! Love Chris
I do love Santa's beard, a very good likeness of him!-lol
The children are beautiful and growing so fast. Thanks for sharing. It makes me 'wish I was there', it's so cold here today.I don't do well in the cold and hubby is making 3 gallons of homemade ice cream ! Bur.r.rr
Thanks so much Toogie and wow, that is 11 litres in our measurements down-under! That's an awesome amount! Love Chris
Great pic, Chris! If you want some "Traditional Christmas weather" I'll be more than willing to send you the 19.9" of snow we've gotten BEFORE it was even Winter. LOL!.
Wow!, now that is impressive Debbie!!. We're expecting torrential rain tomorrow and Sydney have been put on alert. We are 2 hours north of Sydney here in Newcastle, but we might get some of it!
I've got Amy's rabbit staying here whilst they are in New Zealand till the 6th December, so we'll be keeping her under the house in her hutch if it's going to be as bad as they say! Love Chris
It's snowing right now as I have the movie "White Christmas" on while I'm sewing up a Christmas present for my newest granddaughter. They're calling for 8-12" by tomorrow. So, when's Spring? LOL!
Well I'm glad to say that we in my bit of the UK don't have snow and ice every Christmas thank goodness. Great picture of some of your grandchildren
Thanks Caroline, yes, I believe you've had a few Christmases without snow over past years! Love Chris
