Update. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers for our traveling to pick up my daughter in New York. We missed the snow the entire trip. We saw lots of cars, trucks and semi-trucks in the ditches but we had good weather. We picked up Anna and her son and made it back to Michigan in record time. The plan was for Anna to spend the holidays with us and return in January to get the rest of her stuff to move back. However, her mother-in-law caused problems so Anna had to returned to New York the day after Thanksgiving. Anna says that she still wants to move back to Michigan but now it is a waiting game as to whether she will come back or not. I am thankful for the 6 days that we were able to spend with her and the opportunity to meet my grandson.

Good you got back safe and sound. Sorry for the short visit . Hopefully things will work out fine and you will all be together soon.

Oh, I am so glad you had that time together and it sounds as if she is ready for the move. I pray nothing happens and it is not traumatic for eveyone when that time comes. Best wishes to you all and Happy Holidays.

So glad your trip was not impacted by all of the weather...glad you got to spend a few days with your daughter and meet your grandson...sounds like Anna's MIL is a meddling mess...I hope Anna will be able to overcome the pressure that her MIL is putting on her whatever it is and be able to muster up the courage to get back to Michigan with her son in January....
