I use these old towels to line the kitty beds, it is much easier to wash the towel every few days rather than the whole bed, while Sammi likes to wad them up then lay on them......it looks so uncomfortable, but as you can see he is fast asleep........Parfait is doing OK in her room.....she stays pretty well hidden during the day (we have a carpet lined little bin down there) the entrance to it is facing the wall so that she doesn't have to see up while she is hiding.....one day we will rotate it so the entrance faces the stairs we come down so she sees us coming......slow process.......

Oh to be so relaxed. Glad Parfait is hanging in there. I have no doubt that she will become a loving friend soon.

Adorable as always. I find that cats can sleep in the most uncomfortable looking positions. I once had a cat that would get in the closet and sleep on top of a suitcase with the handle sticking up in her stomach. Go figure? Thank you for keeping us updated about Parfait. I hope she comes to her senses soon and realizes just how lucky she is.

HEHE I do this on the chairs in my rescue with the beds on the chairs. IT is easier to wash the towel every week than the bed. I also buy flannel pillowcases at the good will store cheap and stuff the beds in them too. The pillowcases are easy to wash too.
Another thing I do with the pillowcases is put a little batting in them sew them shut and put straps in the ends in all corners. I attach the straps with D rings to chairs or the cages. The have hammocks and love them.

Yes, ours too love tbe hanging hammocks too...they are so fun to watch....

My Kiki has taken to my sewing room chair and I hate to run her off as she was there first.
