Chris my heart goes out to your Mum; as they age more and more of their friends pass on creating sad and pften lonely gaps in their lives. She has obviously brought up a lovely daughter (you) so I am very happy that as a result you share such a lovely relationship now.
I will add your Mum's friend to my prays.
God Bless, Lynne in beautiful Tuross Head, NSW
Thanks so much Lynne, yes, it's awful as we age and we lose our friends. Mum has great memories of her to remember. Love Chris

So sorry for the loss of your Mum's and your friend. A lovely picture to remember good times together. It must be hard for your Mum to lose a good friend. Praying for God's peace for both of you.
Thanks so much Debbie, I really appreciate you popping on here to comment. I do hope things are settling down with your Mum and daughter. Life is so hectic.
I was only visiting my oldest friend on Thursday and she said she just hopes next year is better. She lives over 2 hours drive away from me and we've known each other for 36 years. She used to live here in Newcastle and we saw each other practically every day. I do so miss popping in for coffee and a chat etc.
She told me, "You know, Chris, talking with you is like you were only here yesterday!" I thought what a lovely comment and I feel the same way.
I think as Mum's and friends we need to be ' there' as much as we can for them.
Thanks once again and I pray the same for you. Love Chris
sorry to read your mum lost her friend. Hope you all have many lovely memories of her. And I'm sure you will make somebody happy with the gift you made for her.
Thanks Gerry, I hope that the recipient of the towel will love it as much as I enjoyed making it. Love Chris

Thanks Deb, I appreciate your kind words. I'll send on my condolences to Mum from all you ladies this morning. I've got to pick her up at 8.45 as she has a hair appointment. We are going out to see a female impersonator at 2.00 who Mum loves. This man is Wayne Rogers and does a marvellous show. He matches everything he wears with all the jewellery and shoes. He even makes his own clothes! Love Chris
I am not looking forward to winter. Brrrrrr. The pic of you ladies is wonderful. 91 years old is amazing and to be so active. Wishing you all a fabulous holiday season. Your gifts will be appreciated.
Thanks Chris, as we swelter in the heat I'll think of you in the cold! Thanks for your post. Love Chris
