A good friend of mine went there a couple of months ago. Said she could have spent a week there going through all the shops. Said it was well worth the trip. You should find lots of inspiration and many fun fabrics!
A girl's trip! ooh what fun you will have! I look forward to reading about it!
you are so lucky. I watch her on utube and love to meet her, Have fun
Have a great time. Throw shampoo and deodorant into 2 empty suitcases. Now, you're packed AND have room for all that gorgeous yardage.
Sounds like a great trip. I just returned from Branson. Was with a military reunion so didn't get to shop any quilt stores. We did see the Light and Sound show Samson. It was good. Have a fun time!!
I have been to Branson two times. The first time "Noah" was playing at the Sight and Sound. The second time "Jonah" was playing. I have never seen a production so well put together and played out as "Noah". I felt as if I were sitting in the Ark. They had live animals walk down the aisles and then placed in the port holes. I wasn't impressed with "Jonah" and of course there was not a live whale...…….LOL
My husband was looking forward to going back to Branson this year as we had planned, but, as I said he passed away in June. That is a huge regret because he wanted to return so badly and I wanted to take him there. I can't begin to say how much I miss him. This surely trumps everything that has ever happened in my life!
Vkggal- I'm sorry about the loss of your husband. Please try to stop regretting and take comfort in the good times. He must have really enjoyed it if he wanted to go back so remember those special times.
You know you made me laugh about the whale!-lol
You're right. We seem to pass in the night. Would love to be on this trip with you. Sounds like fun. I'm getting ready to start a tshirt quilt for my oldest grandson who's graduating from high school this year. Which means I'll need to make eight more quilts through the years. Can't make one without making nine! Youngest grand is three so hope I hold out that long HA-HA.
You're gonna have a ball! Jenny is a lot of fun - we had her at our quilt guild a year or so ago! Have a safe trip and take lots and lots of pictures or, should that be, lots and lots of money? LOL! Hugs*, Deb
I'm jealous! I'll just be here working, don't worry about me. :)
Do have fun and as always, post some photos so that we can live vicariously through your travels.
Oh, boo hoo, Jerrilyn. If you want a trip, just say so. I know a great embr. trip.
I hope I don't have camera issues this trip- I had to depend on others for Canada photos-Don't work too hard!
I am sooo jealous! Have a wonderful trip. Looking forward to all the details when you return. Btw-I am going on a sewing cruise in February with Reen from Embroidery Garden. 2 sisters-in-law are going with me so should have a great time. Hugs. Nan W
