Wishing all the best for Joshua ! And of course whole family cos everybody is always a bit worried when someone has a surgery.
Hi Sarah, to answer your question about the rain and cold spell, did it reach us. Well yes it did, we also nearly got flooded out here at home. The electrical storm we had was quite frightening, it lasted from 7 in the morning till 5 in the evening non-stop. Our poor cats were like me wanting to hide under a bed. All the best for Josh on Tuesday, will be thinking of him and you too. Hugs from Maureen in Durban
Thank goodness we didn’t have any storms like that. My little dog is terrified of lightning and thunder
Will be praying for Joshua and his surgical team on Tuesday and for you and his Mom to have nerves of steel. Big hug.
Renewed prayers for this optimistic young man. Don't you wish you could bottle his attitude? I know so many people I'd love to gift a dose of that.
We called him our warrior when he first had his leg amputated. He is still a warrior in my eyes. I am just so sad I will not see him while he is in S. Africa.
He looks happy and that is what counts. Is that preventing him from wearing a prosthetic ?
Christine, the bone is rubbing on his prosthetic leg and makes the skin raw. His stump should be in a cone shape but it is not. He will have an inch taken off on Tuesday so hopefully this will heal into a better shape
I am sorry Josh has to have another surgery. I also know that he will approach it with the same great attitude as he has in the past. He will come out of this just great and we will see another happy smile on his face.
Great photo, Sarah...Josh looks like he is ready to tackle anything. I know his surgery will go well and he will be back on top of the world again soon!
God bless that young man. Do they ever quit growing? He will do well Sarah. Attitude, and an upbeat one is what he has. That's what it takes to get through these issues.
Bless his heart, Sarah...…..he is a pro at this and it shows in his smiling face, just a little hitch in the road. What an inspiration he is!
He is one in a million. Nothing seems to faze him. I think he is very excited about seeing his friends in Johannesburg.
Hi Sarah, I hope all goes well for Joshua. I bet you'll have a great time with them staying with you. Hope the operation goes ahead and he will be up and about soon. Love Chris
I will not be seeing them as they will be in Johannesburg for the time. Emma will probably have to get back to Dubai and then Josh will spend some time with Charlotte. He will go back to Dubai after the stitches have been removed
Great picture , hope the operation will be soon and successful. Please keep us updated...he is such a strong young person, an example for many.
Oh! Sarah, he looks so happy and not too concerned about another op.
I wish him all the best. Hugs from Maureen in Durban
Thank you Maureen in Durban. We were nearly washed away last weekend. Did you get the tail end of the cold front?
